1. How can I make a child support payment?

a.  It’s so easy to make a child support payment now by clicking any of the four options below:

iv.   TouchPay | Pennsylvania Child Support 

b.  In person cash payments can be made at the payment kiosk at the lobby of the DRS office. There is a 2.9% fee when paying with a card. If paying by cash, there is a $3 fee for the first $100 and an additional $2 fee for every $100.00 thereafter. 

c.  You may also call the payment line 610-278-3668.  There is a 2.5% fee for this service.

4. I am homeless or have medical issues and don’t have any money to pay the support order, what do I need to do??

• File a petition to modify – Petition to Modify Existing Support Order    
•  If medically unable to work, you may be required to submit documentation from a physician. 

5. I need help looking for work, do you have a job program?

Yes, we have an employment assistance program called Equus. Please email the Compliance unit at: Enforcement-Montgomery@pacses.com with contact information. 

6. How long do I have to pay child support until? What’s the emancipation rule??

Until the child is 18 or graduates high school, whichever comes last.

7. How can I get my passport back?

• Arrears must be paid in full to a zero balance.  
• Once paid, a request must be made to the Compliance Unit to contact the state for review and removal from the Passport Denial Program. 

8. How do I file for reimbursement for sports activities, medical/dental expenses?

Please review the packet titled Unreimbursed Expenses and follow the instructions. 

9. Who do I contact in regards to the notice of bank freeze, tax offset, credit bureau reporting or license suspension?
