Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Senior Services will host public listening sessions on Pennsylvania’s Master Plan for Older Adults – a 10-year, state-led and stakeholder-driven strategic plan designed to help transform the infrastructure and coordination of services for older Pennsylvanians. Registration is required and closes two days before the session.

MCPC is sponsoring the The Course in Community Planning, which will be taught in three Thursday sessions—September 14, 21, 28. Designed for both new and experienced participants, the course covers the fundamental information that municipal officials and planning commission members need to carry out their responsibilities and do an effective job. It addresses the role of planning in local government and how planning commissions relate to the governing body, zoning hearing board, and zoning officer.
