    This program is so popular, we decided to offer it again. Join us for another knee-deep and up-close look at life in the Perkiomen Creek. Using nets, pans and magnifiers, we will examine the diverse creatures that make their home in moving waters. All creatures will be released unharmed at conclusion of program. Suitable for all ages.   3. Kid's Creek Study at Lower Perkiomen Valley Park

    Creek studies are educational and fun! Children will safely explore the creek, while searching for and collecting macroinvertebrates to examine up close. Together we will determine whether or not we think our creek is healthy, based on what we find. Your child will experience thinking and working like a real scientist! By the end of the program, they will have learned how to properly collect and examine macroinvertebrates, as well as understand their importance. Pre-registration required by June 18th; participants should meet at the Park and Ride parking lot; weather permitting. Ages 6-12; Participants should dress for the weather—sunscreen, hats, etc. Parents are encouraged to bring insect repellent and towels in case children get wet. Proper shoes are required, such as water shoes, or waterproof boots. NO flip flops. Register at EventBrite

  4. Vintage Baseball at its Best!

Bring your chair or blanket to sit on. Pennypacker Mansion open for tours by pre-reservation. Masks required for tours of the mansion. All ages; FREE, suggested donation $2/person.

  1. Household Hazardous Waste Collection

    The Montgomery County Household Hazardous Waste collection is free for residents to drop off household chemicals for proper disposal. Businesses and contractors will be turned away. Preregistration is required prior to attending an event. Click on the link to register for the preferred date and time. Please follow state guidelines and public health restrictions by wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing when attending an event.
