Pathways to Registered Apprenticeships and the Careers of Tomorrow

This webinar features representatives from Bucks and Montgomery Counties K-12, Community Colleges and Workforce Boards. Youth and young adults are planning post-high school careers for financial independence and fulfillment. Many opportunities are available to start working and earning college credit right out of high school. This webinar presents the initiatives in Bucks County, PA and Montgomery County, PA for youth and young adults to learn about these opportunities and prepare for them. Registered Apprenticeships are available locally in a variety of exciting industries, such as business, manufacturing, the trades, construction, biomedical research and IT.

Hurricane Ida Disaster Recovery Action Plan and Public Meeting

The United States Congress, following disaster declarations by Governor Tom Wolf and President Joe Biden, has allocated $23.152 million to assist the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in rebuilding and recovering from the damage caused by Hurricane Ida. The State is required to submit an Action Plan to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) detailing how these funds are to be used.

Bird Walk

Join park staff for a morning bird walk. Come observe some amazing birds that are only stopping by. Bring binoculars if you have them. Wear sturdy shoes for hiking. All ages; Free Limited space - registration required. Please register for this event by contacting Rebecca at rblacketter@montcopa.org. Meeting location will be provided once you register. Also reach out for directions if needed! GPS does not always take you to the right location of the park. Our educator, Rebecca can make sure you get where you need to be!
