Please join us for a fun, interactive field trip at the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) 2-acre teaching and production farm at the Norristown Farm Park! On this trip, participants will discover what compost is and how we make it! Participants will also learn about worms and their importance for farming. All participants will get a chance to pick, wash and (snack on) a vegetable. Because our space is a real working farm with living things and farm equipment, we must limit the number of children at this program please only bring children ages 7 to 16. Age 7-16 with adult; Free Limited space - registration required. Please register for this event by contacting Rebecca at Rebecca.Blacketter@montgomerycountypa.gov . Meeting location will be provided once you register. Also reach out for directions if needed! GPS does not always take you to the right location of the park. Our educator, Rebecca can make sure you get where you need to be!
