Winter enthusiasts can cross-country ski, ice fish or go ice skating. The park also offers summer concerts and family-oriented, environmental education programs on weekends.

The park consists of over 3400 acres and three bodies of water totaling 870 acres.  The Hill Road Day Use Are on the Reservoir has a boat rental facility that is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day.  Deep Creek Lake provides access from sunrise to sunset for patrons with private watercraft.  Private boat racks are available at the Walt Road Day Use Area.
*Boat rack quantities are limited*

Camping
Green Lane Park has two separate camping facilities, the Deep Creek Campground and the Marino Equestrian Campground, that are available for overnight, family camping.
The Deep Creek Campground offers 30 primitive tent sites that include a picnic table, a grill, and a fire ring.  There is also an organized group camp site for non-profit organizations to reserve.
The Marino Equestrian Campground offers 10 sites for equestrian camping trailers (must have horses).  Both campgrounds have a 14 day limit per person, each season.

Recreation
Recreational activity sites within the park offer a variety of uses. These sites have grills, large picnic areas, fishing and many open fields for a variety of active sports. Wintertime sees the heartier sports of ice skating, cross-country skiing, sledding and ice fishing.

There are several miles of nature trails that attract hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians to enjoy the natural beauty of the seasons.

ALL COUNTY PARKS, TRAILS & HISTORIC SITES ARE NOW SMOKE FREE.  NO SMOKING (INCLUDING VAPORIZERS) OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED.
