1. How do I file a petition to modify? Is there a fee to file?

Complete and submit your petition using E-Services located on the Pennsylvania Child Support Website.  E-Services uses a series of questions to complete documents to be forwarded to Montgomery County Domestic Relations Section (DRS). Requests for support services can be used by parents, caretakers/custodians, or attorneys who want to: 

• Receive child support, spousal support, and/or alimony pendente lite (APL); 
• Pay child support, spousal support, and/or alimony pendente lite (APL); 
• Modify an existing child support, spousal support, and/or alimony pendente lite order (APL); 
• Recover an overpayment; or, 
• Withdraw a complaint.

Submitting an online request does not constitute a filing with Montgomery County court. Documents are not officially filed until they are reviewed and accepted by the Montgomery County Domestic Relations Office.

2. How do I withdraw a petition to modify?

After a petition is filed, both parties must agree to withdraw it. If both parties agree, submit a written request to CS-MONTGOMERY@pacses.com with your photo ID. 

3. How do I withdraw a complaint for support?

After a complaint is filed, it may be withdrawn by submitting a written request with photo ID to CS-Montgomery@PACSES.com. If you are actively receiving TANF benefits (cash assistance) you may not withdraw the complaint. 

4. What constitutes a completed filing (petition to modify, motion, etc)?

All required pages are complete and submitted (including case number, case caption, and signatures). The action may be rejected if not completed in full. 

5. Do I need to provide supporting verification for motions to continue an Establishment Support Conference?

Yes, all motions to continue require documentation be provided (regardless of agreement).  If documentation is not provided, you will be notified it needs to be submitted and the motion may be denied. This is required of represented parties and pro se parties. 

6. How do I request a payment history report?

Email request (including time frame sought) to CS-Montgomery@pacses.com.

7. How long am I eligible to receive child support?

Typically, a child support order that originated in Pennsylvania terminates when the child emancipates (turns 18 years old or has graduated from high school, whichever comes last).  If any arrears remain after emancipation, they will continue to be collected.

8. When will I receive the zoom link for my scheduled conference?

Zoom links for establishment conferences are sent with your notice to appear via USPS.  You will also receive an email to the email address on file, one week prior to your conference date with the zoom link. This email will be coming from the address ConferenceOfficer-Montgomery@PACSES.com. If you did not receive it, please check your SPAM account before contacting customer service. 

9. Where do I submit my documents for my virtual support conference?

You can email your documents to RemoteTeleconferenceMontgomery@pacses.com or you may use the “upload files” button below to upload your documents for your virtual support conference. Do not submit screenshots. 

You may not take pictures of documents you plan to submit to our office with your mobile device. If you have either an iOS (Apple) or Android smartphone, your device has the ability to "scan" documents from these devices. Follow the below how-to-guides made available by the device manufacturers;

10. How do I see my current case balance?

You can review your balance, the latest payments and upcoming scheduled events by logging on to the Pennsylvania Child Support Website. If you are not a member of the Pennsylvania Child Support Website, you can use this link below to register.

11. We’ve come to an agreement and would like to submit the agreement instead of coming to the conference. How do we do that?

Contact CS-MONTGOMERY@PACSES.com and explain you’d like to submit an agreement. A member of our staff will then reach out to you to confirm you are including everything required by the Title IVD agency on a support order. If one or both parties are not represented you will be required to submit income documentation with your agreement as well.
