Schwenksville, PA—This winter, visit Pennypacker Mills to experience free, family-friendly tours that celebrate the holiday season! Located at 5 Haldeman Road in Schwenksville, PA, Pennypacker Mills is an immersive Colonial revival mansion that offers visitors a unique glimpse into the past.
Holiday Tours
Tuesday, November 21, 2023 to Sunday, January 7, 2024
Tour the spectacularly decorated Pennypacker mansion and learn more about Christmas in the early 1900s. All ages are welcome to tour the mansion! The Museum Shop will be stocked with unique gifts and decorations.
Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The last tour each day begins at 3 p.m. Pennypacker Mills is closed all Mondays, November 23, December 24, 25, 31 and January 1. For groups of 10 or more, please contact the office in advance by calling 610-287-9324. Tours are FREE; suggested donation of $2 per person.
Victorian Christmas Open House

Bring the whole family to Pennypacker Mills for a spectacular holiday experience. On Saturday, December 9 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., tour the historic mansion for a fascinating look at Christmas past. All ages are welcome to tour the mansion!
Activities include:
- Visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Holiday music with the Bells of Praise handbell choir: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Holiday music with the Happy Dutchmen German Band: 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
- Live demonstration of the history of clear toy candy in the mansion’s kitchen: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Visitors can stop by our Museum Shop to purchase unique holiday décor and gifts.
This event is FREE; suggested donation of $2 per person.
