GREEN LANE, PA – Montgomery County's Green Lane Park will host two free environmental educational programs in August 2023.
Incredible Insects
Come out and learn about our six-legged insect neighbors and their amazing adaptions for survival. Join us to search a meadow habitat for creatures that walk, hop, fly and crawl around our community. Ages four to adult are welcome. Pre-registration is required. Call 610.287.6970 to reserve your space.
The program will be held on Saturday, August 19 at 1 p.m., at Hemlock Point Office Building, 1494 Gravel Pike, Green Lane, Pennsylvania, directly behind Marlborough Elementary School.
Creek Critters
Join us for our final "Creek Critters" program of the year where we will take a close-up look at creatures that live in moving waters. Please wear shorts and water shoes or old sneakers and be prepared to get wet! No open-toe shoes or sandals are allowed for safety reasons. All ages are welcome. Pre-registration is required. Call 610.287.6970 to reserve your space.
The program will take place in the Fly-Fishing Area of Green Lane Park at 1023 Church Road, East Greenville, Pennsylvania. For more information on the event, contact Kevin Crilley at (215) 234-4528 or kcrilley@montcopa.org.
