POTTSTOWN, PA – The Pennsylvania CareerLink® Montgomery County, a proud partner of the American Job Center Network, the Montgomery County Community College and the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce are partnering to host a job fair for the manufacturing industry. The event will take place on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at North Hall on Montgomery County Community College’s Pottstown campus (16 E. High St., Pottstown PA 19464).
Career seekers are invited to meet with local manufacturers and apply on the spot for open positions which include Machine Operator, Packager, Assembler, Fabrication Mechanic, Press Operator, and Safety Technician. Free parking will be available for career seekers and employers. Masks are required on-site.
Manufacturing is a critical industry within Montgomery County’s economy with 1,344 employers, 43,672 employees and an average annual wage of $96,668 according to the PA Department of Labor & Industry’s Center for Workforce Information and Analysis.
