NORRISTOWN, PA – The
Montgomery County Coroner’s Office is investigating three separate deaths related to the severe storm that struck the region the evening of September 1, 2021.
A multi-agency investigation is ongoing, and the Coroner’s Office is charged with positively identifying the deceased, ensure the legal next of kin have been notified of the death, and determine cause and manner of death through investigation, examination and forensic testing. The following information has been approved for release by Dr. Michael Milbourne, Coroner for Montgomery County.
Maxine Weinstein, 68 year old female, of Fort Washington, died at home on September 1, 2021. Cause of death is traumatic asphyxia and the manner of death is accidental.
Craig Messinger, 70 year old male, of Schwenksville, was found dead in Skippack Township on September 2, 2021. Cause of death is drowning and the manner of death is accidental.
Jack Caroluzzi, 65 year old male, of Bridgeport, died at home on September 2, 2021. Cause of death is pending investigation and the manner of death is also pending.
