Green Lane Park announced today two upcoming outdoor events in May. The public is encouraged to register to attend these upcoming family-friendly events.
Earlybird Walk
Saturday May 15, 2021 at 8 a.m.
Join us in a search for spring migrants and breeding birds at the Green Lane Park Important Bird Area. May is peak time to observe warblers, vireos, flycatchers and more as they make their journey north from the tropics. Program will meet outside Park Office (2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane, PA 18054). “Creek Critters”
Saturday May 29, 2021 at 1 p.m.
Join us for a close-up look at life in the Perkiomen Creek. We will use nets, pans, and magnifiers to investigate the diversity of creatures that make their home in the moving waters. All creatures will be released at end of the program. Program is free, but pre-registration required. Suitable for ages 4 and up. Call (215) 234-4528 to reserve your space.

ABOUT GREEN LANE PARK
Green Lane Park, in northwestern Montgomery County, offers a variety of year-round, outdoor activities and programs for people to choose from. Park visitors can enjoy fishing, boating (including boat rentals), family and group camping, picnicking, 25 miles of trails for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking, as well as two children’s playgrounds. Winter enthusiasts can cross-country ski, ice fish or go ice skating, weather permitting. The park also offers summer concerts and family-oriented, environmental education programs on weekends. The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to sunset.
