[ARCHIVED] Why haven't I received confirmation that my ballot was received?

Some emails confirming receipt of returned ballots have not yet gone out.  We are receiving thousands of voted ballots every day from our secure drop boxes as well as from the United States Postal Service. Every single ballot envelope returned to our office is being scanned into our system, date stamped, and sorted by municipality before it is placed into a secure room under 24 hour surveillance.

Due to technical issues, the Department of State (DOS) ballot tracking site may not confirm your ballot has been received in our office at this time. We are working with the Department of State and once the issue is resolved, the system will update. If you provided your email address when you submitted your mail in ballot application you will receive an email from the Department of State.

Rest assured your returned ballot is safe and secure!
