While our office continues to remain closed to the public due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, beginning on Monday, July 13, we are offering another way for you to get your documents to us for recording. There is now a drop box available in the lobby of One Montgomery Plaza for recordings and plans.
This drop box is available in addition to sending plans and recordings to our office through the US Postal Service, UPS/FedEx and our erecording partners.
If you choose to utilize the drop box, please make sure you are following the same recording requirements as you would when you mail documents, including a self-addressed stamped envelope. Additionally, please make sure the envelope you use is fully sealed before you place it into the drop box.
For Plans, please make sure they are pre-screened and pre-approved before dropping them into the drop box. Please let security know you are there to drop off plans for the Recorder of Deeds and they will hold on to your items until our collection times. We will contact you when your plans have been recorded and is ready to be picked up.
Drop box hours will be from 8:30AM until 3:30PM Monday through Friday at One Montgomery Plaza: Swede and Airy Streets, Norristown, PA. Masks are required in the lobby of One Montgomery Plaza.
Please note, items left in the drop box will not jump the queue.
