Bike Montco, Montgomery County’s new bicycle mobility plan, is being developed by the Montgomery County Planning Commission with input from the public. The plan, which will enhance the county’s efforts to advance bike and pedestrian mobility, will recommend key policies, bicycle facilities, and funding opportunities. Tell us what you think of bicycling in the county, share your current bicycling habits, and suggest what types of programs and facilities will further bicycling in Montgomery County. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is available in English and Spanish. Surveys are due September 15. When you complete the survey, you’ll have a chance to win a gift certificate, ranging in value from $25 to $75, from eight participating bike shops. We also have a user-friendly online map that can be used to bring attention to obstacles or barriers that prevent bicyclists from riding safely.
