Have you ever wanted to learn about the life cycle of a Rainbow Trout? Join us to observe the life cycle, learn about water quality and more! This program will take place from December until May. This month we will be preparing the tank for eggs that will be arriving in January! In May, once the trout are old enough, we will release them into Kepner Creek! This is an indoor program. Norristown Farm Park’s participation in the Trout in the Classroom program was made possible through a partnership between the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) and the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited (PATU). All ages; Free Limited space - registration required. Please register for this event by contacting Rebecca at rblacketter@montcopa.org. Meeting location will be provided once you register. Also reach out for directions if needed! GPS does not always take you to the right location of the park. Our educator, Rebecca can make sure you get where you need to be!
