Montgomery County 2050 Comprehensive Plan Public Forum
Monday, October 17, 2022
The Montgomery County Planning Commission (MCPC) invites you to join county staff for a brief presentation to kick off the planning process for Montco 2050: A Comprehensive Plan for a Changing World. This will be the county’s new comprehensive plan, with an anticipated adoption date in 2025. The forum will take place on October 17, 2022 at 7 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Board Room on the 8th floor of One Montgomery Plaza, 425 Swede Street, Norristown, PA 19401. A virtual option is also available.
The focus of this forum is to hear thoughts from the public on planning priorities for the comprehensive plan. MCPC is looking to hear about the public’s experiences in the county and any changes they would like to see in the future. The event will begin with a short presentation on the role of a county comprehensive plan and the information that comprehensive plans cover, such as housing, land use, utilities, preservation, and transportation, etc. MCPC staff will also discuss the plan’s theme of “change.” For those who prefer to attend virtually, please register on Zoom at www.montcopa.org/2050townhall. A recording of the forum will be posted online for future viewing as well. For more information, contact Anne Leavitt-Gruberger at aleavitt@montcopa.org or 610-278-3727.
