Lecture by Dan Graham: Resolved to Erect a Town, the Origins of Pottstown
Wednesday, July 14, 2021
Commemorate 260 years since John Potts first advertised for the town of Pottstown by learning about its origins at this outdoor lecture at Pottsgrove Manor. Potts family researcher and author, Dan Graham, will share stories about how the early community grew and what developments lead to the town’s success. Discover the ways the Potts family influenced the progress of their town and what caused them to choose this “suitable tract of land.” Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs for seating. Weather permitting.
