Perkiomen Trail Update

Hello Everyone, we have a big announcement to make.  On December 9th, Bridge 99 (Perk Trail Connection between Rt. 29 and Deep Creek Rd.) will be Closed for at least 18 Months for renovation.  We will be closing the  trail from Crusher Rd. to the Orange trail Parking lot at Green Lane.  We are sorry for the inconvenience but happy that this old 8 stone arch bridge will be fixed.  Wishing you all a Happy Holiday Season to you and your families.

ATTENTION:

The Bird & Wildlife Festival has been RESCHEDULED due to the pending severe weather forecasted for this weekend.  The NEW DATE for our 2023 Festival will be Sunday, October 1st and will have the same hours of 11am to 3pm, FREE Admission for all who attend and we look forward to seeing everyone at Green Lane Park soon!

About Green Lane Park

Green Lane Park, in northwestern Montgomery County, offers a variety of year-round, outdoor activities and programs for people to choose from. Park visitors can enjoy fishing, boating (including boat rentals), family and group camping, picnicking, 25 miles of trails for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking, as well as two children's playgrounds. Winter enthusiasts can cross-country ski, ice fish or go ice skating, weather permitting. The park also offers summer concerts and family-oriented, environmental education programs on weekends. 

Park Hours are 6:00 am-sunset, daily.

Picnicking

The park offers several picnic areas for families and groups. Tables and charcoal grills are available around Deep Creek Lake and at the Hill Road Day Use Area. Groups may also reserve picnic pavilions for reunions, birthday parties or other special functions. For more information, click on the RENTALS tab on the left.

Trails

There are several miles of nature trails that attract hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians to enjoy the natural beauty of the seasons.

Leashed pets are welcome in the park and in any body of water pending they remain on a leash at all times.

Fall Maple

ALL COUNTY PARKS, TRAILS & HISTORIC SITES ARE NOW SMOKE FREE.  NO SMOKING (INCLUDING VAPORIZERS) OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED.

Volunteer Opportunities

Green Lane Park is always looking for volunteers for our programs and events.  Some of our park events include: The Upper Perkiomen Bird and Wildlife Festival, The DeBella Dog Walk, Haunted Campground Hayride,
The Triple Dam Run (presented by The Friends of Green Lane Park). Check out the Friends of Green Lane Park page, located in the box to the left for other volunteer opportunities.
