County departments will now be able to advertise items for auction on GovDeals, a third-party website that manages Internet auctions for municipalities such as townships, counties, and cities.

Items that may be placed for auction include:

• Computer and audio-visual equipment
• Furniture
• Heavy equipment
• Office supplies and equipment
• Vehicles

 All items will be sold as is, where is. No delivery is available - the purchaser must arrange shipping.
