What is a Traffic Garden?

A traffic garden is a set of scaled-down streets and crosswalks where children and families can practice walking and biking in a safe and fun environment.

Locations

New Hanover Community Park Traffic Garden

•  Address: 2766 Gail Drive, Gilbertsville, PA 19525
•  Hours: Dawn to dusk
• Parking is available on-site.

Sergeant James C. Petrik Traffic Garden

• Address: 130 Spring Avenue, Hatboro, PA 19040
• Hours: Dawn to dusk
• Parking is available on-site. The Traffic Garden is located behind the building. 

Educations and Events

• Bike, pedestrian, and school bus safety lessons for children
• Bike rodeo events in partnership with local law enforcement, bike shops, community organizations, and safety advocates
• Helmet distributions for children
• Open for community and organization use
