The historic collections of the Peter Wentz Farmstead represent daily life for a typical Pennsylvania German farm family in the 18th century. Several of the objects are representative of household furnishings owned and recorded in a 1793 probate inventory filed with Montgomery County, Pennsylvania by Peter Wentz. Included in the collections are a variety of 18th century furniture, kitchen wares, artwork, and other Pennsylvania German household wares. Unless noted otherwise, all objects listed in the online catalogue are original to the date range provided.
