Instructions for Requesting a Transcript

If you are looking to get a transcript of a court proceeding or a proceeding that took place before a Domestic Relations Hearing Officer or an Equitable Distribution Hearing Office, please see the links provided below.  

 

For cases heard in the Court of Common Pleas (Trial Court):

 

If you are requesting a transcript for a proceeding that took place before a Court of Common Pleas Judge, please go to the Court Reporters website. Instructions, forms and payment information are available there.  

 

For Proceedings Before a DOMESTIC RELATIONS (DRO) HEARING OFFICER: 

 

If you require a transcript of a proceeding held before a Support Hearing Officer, please visit the DRO Transcript Request site.  
You can also call Domestic Relations at 610.278.3184 to order a transcript. 

 

For Proceedings Before an EQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION OFFICER:

 

To request a transcript of an Equitable Distribution hearing or settlement conference, print and complete the following Transcript Request Order form [link to form]. Email the completed form to CourtsED@Montcopa.org or mail to:

Please note: Incomplete request forms may result in a delay in processing.

PROCEEDINGS BEFORE A MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT JUDGE (MDJ):  

 

Please note that court reporters at the Montgomery County Courthouse do NOT handle matters before any of the Magisterial District Judges.  You are advised to contact the attorneys involved to see if there was a court reporter present.
