Volunteer and Intern Opportunities

Since opening as a historic house museum in 1952, volunteers at Pottsgrove Manor have played an integral part of our operations.  Volunteers invest their time and talent to help make our special programs and educational outreach come alive.  Share with us what your strengths and interests are so that we can match you with the best opportunities to serve as a volunteer at Pottsgrove Manor.

Types of Opportunities

Volunteering at Pottsgrove Manor is easy and can be tailored to fit your schedule.  We are always looking to add fantastic volunteers to help with daily operations and special programs.  Volunteering opportunities include:

  • Museum Tours
  • Museum Shop Operations
  • Curatorial Work
  • Research and Transcribing
  • Living History

Internships

Pottsgrove Manor offers internships throughout the year to any Undergraduate and Graduate students who are looking to gain experience in the museum field.  Each internship is designed based upon the student's interests and goals.  Past internships at Pottsgrove Manor have been used as credits towards classes, projects for student's resumes, and generalized work experience within the museum field.
