Student Internships
The Montgomery County Adult Probation and Parole Department accepts student interns into the agency. The student should preferably be a junior or senior enrolled in an undergraduate internship program who is majoring in criminal justice or one of the social or behavioral sciences.
The student intern will assist an adult probation / parole officer (PO) in the performance of the PO’s duties while earning credits from the university or college. The student will receive exposure to all aspects of the department’s work. If necessary, the student may serve as an acting PO if a vacant position exists.
Internship Application Deadlines: Summer – April 1st; Fall – July 1st; Spring – November 1st
