Do you need an appointment?
OPH highly encourages people to make an appointment to receive a flu vaccine. People registering and making an appointment will be prioritized. People without appointments will be registered on-site and will be accommodated while supplies last.
Who is eligible to receive a flu vaccine at an OPH Flu Vaccine Site?
Anyone 6 months of age and older who lives, works, or goes to school in Montgomery County.
Is there a charge for a flu vaccination?
There is no charge to receive a flu vaccination with the Montgomery County OPH. If you have health insurance that covers the flu vaccination, OPH may bill your insurance, but please be assured, there will be no cost to you.
When You Arrive At Your Appointment
- Per the CDC guidance surrounding community transmission rates, the Montgomery County Office of Public Health requires that masks be worn at all of our indoor Community Flu and COVID vaccination clinics.
- Wear a short-sleeved shirt.
- A parent or guardian must attend with children and adolescents under 18.
- If a parent or guardian is unable to attend, an acceptable substitute over the age of 21 may be authorized by the parent or guardian by signing and completing the treatment of a minor form.
COVID-19
If you experience symptoms* of COVID-19 or have been in close physical contact with a person who is known to have COVID-19, or you are isolating or quarantining because you may have been exposed to a person with COVID-19, you should not attend a Montgomery County Office of Public Health Influenza Vaccination (Flu shot) Clinic. This is for your safety and the safety of our staff and clients.
*Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea
