About the Court Administrator


Montgomery County is a pioneer in the establishment of the office of court administrator. The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Implementation of policies set by the state court administrator
  • Preparation of reports for the president judge and state court administrator
  • Jury management
  • Development of effective methods of court functioning including mechanization and computerization of court operation
  • Preparation and administration of trial calendars for all civil, family, and criminal cases, including daily trial list, Protection from Abuse, License Suspension, Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition and scheduling of arbitration matters.
