Cradle of Liberty Council Explorer Program

The District Attorney’s Office proudly participates in the Cradle of Liberty Council Exploring Program, serving as an Explorers Post, where local high school juniors and seniors can learn about a career in criminal justice. Under the supervision of the Montgomery County Detective Bureau, Explorers learn about criminal investigation and legal prosecution by experts in the field. The program allows Explorers to learn from assistant district attorneys and detectives and provides unique insight into the work necessary to operate a large law enforcement agency. Field trips include a visit to the Montgomery County Correctional Center, the County Courthouse, The Youth Study Center, Emergency Operations/911 Center, the Coroner’s Office and Mission Kids.
