The Department of Assets and Infrastructure is responsible for the efficient management of Montgomery County’s physical assets. The Department is comprised of four divisions. Those divisions are Capital Projects, Parks, Trails & Historic Sites, Public Property, and Roads & Bridges. Collectively, the department provides a network of safe and attractive properties that include over 100 buildings or structures, 6,000 acres of open space, five historic sites, nine parks, nearly 100 miles of trails, approximately 131 bridges and over 75 miles of roads. The Department of Assets and Infrastructure strives to provide a high quality service experience to both County residents and employees.
