In early 2006, the Montgomery County Planning Commission hired Edwards & Kelcey to look at how much land was available along the Norristown and Plymouth Township waterfront for development and how people might be able to access it. The resulting Lafayette Street Land Use Access Study is a tool to help both municipalities understand the opportunities and constraints along the riverfront and empower them to guide future development.
